JoDee is the Founder and visionary for the Caring People.  She began this ministry with a heart for the hurting and lost among us and continues to focus on our core mission to “create an awareness of and a desire to meet Jesus.” She spends much of her time these days with her husband, Peter, and their 5 children and 11 grandchildren. Contact .

Cindy  began her journey on this mission in 2002 as a fundraising chair volunteer after a chance meeting with JoDee Herschend in 2007.  Cindy oversees all strategic objectives and day-to-day operations. “Working with our 100+ volunteers is such a blessing for me as I see the real fruit come from their time and effort. Karen Sinn began growing new markets for TCP in 2012 and serves as our Field Rep in that capacity. She is intricately involved in growing the volunteer platform it takes in all new markets, including leadership development.   A Columbia, Mo. native, Karen is also a trained Life Coach and uses many of these skills to “coach” and “encourage” our new city chairs.  Karen spends much of her time on the road meeting new Caring Women weekly – all with our goal in mind. Elsie Moody serves as our International Chair, supporting, growing and leading Care Groups in Santa Ana El Salvador. Elsie and her husband Kenton also have a thriving ministry serving that city with the love of Christ.

Sheila has a real heart for this mission.  A former Single Mom, she  knows first-hand the struggles of many of our Single Moms. Now, Sheila brings her compassionate heart and knowledge to being on the front-line daily for the office; interfacing with Single Moms, volunteers, and donors each day. As Director of Development, Louanne is responsible for reaching major donor prospects/foundations and leading city chapter volunteers in accomplishing annual fundraising goals. Her favorite part of the Caring People is seeing lives changed through knowing Jesus Christ. She and her husband, Alan, live on Table Rock Lake in the Branson area.  They have two children and one grandchild. Contact
