New Care Group off to Great Start!

On Wednesday night, the Caring People started a new Care Group in Springfield at East Grand Church, and 9 Single Moms attended!  Yesterday we spoke with Robbie, the Care Group leader, and she was thrilled with how the first meeting went. 

She said that one Single Mom showed up 20 minutes late, and then later told the group she had been at Alcoholics Anonymous because she was a recovering alcoholic.  What an opportunity this is to show the life-changing power of Christ! 

Also, East Grand Church is eager to embrace these Single Moms and tangibly walk the love of Jesus into their hearts.   The men’s ministry has already volunteered to do oil changes and yard work for those in the Care Group!
