Caring Woman Spotlight

Anita Poots was recruited to be involved with the Caring People by her friends on the Springfield Admin Team.  Anita had been a Single Mom and believed that the Caring People’s mission was a worthwhile cause, so she joined.

Anita has always been involved in outreach.  She was chairman of the Christian Women’s Club for 15 years and was a Big Sister through Big Brothers Big Sisters.  Anita also was a school teacher and retired from the phone company after 31 years of service.

Anita enjoys volunteering with and specifically ministering to ladies.  When asked why she is committed to the Caring People’s ministry to Single Moms, she said, “Because you go down all the wrong paths without Jesus.”

What is a Caring Woman?
